Murals are wonderful in the way that they give towns an opportunity to tell visitors and residents about the history of a place without even leaving their vehicles. I love the history of Silverton, Oregon and find it a very worthy endeavor to research the stories that my murals are depicting.
Gathering the details and designing the best way to convey the story is nearly as much fun as actually painting the images on the walls. These larger than life paintings out on the city buildings and walls turn the whole town into a gallery museum.
Drive around Silverton and take a look at all of my murals.
